Uh Oh...Freedom's Almost Over!!!

OH NO!!! It's Sunday and I see a FULL WEEK of school looming ahead of me! Maybe it will snow at the end of the week again??? I'm getting stressed out already, thinking of all the things that have to get accomplished this week. So, in celebration of my last day of freedom (I'm sure those scrapbook supplies won't get touched all week) I'm posting the last few layouts that I've created this weekend.

I used the ever-reliable Page Maps for this layout and some bright and sunny American Crafts Backyard paper.

"Time for the Stocking" is probably my favorite layout from this weekend. I totally scraplifted this layout from a blog I found this morning. She's got some amazing projects!!!

Snow Day #7

I'm LOVING all of these snow days!!!! I may be HATING them later on during the school  year when we're making them up, but there's nothing I can do about it so I'm enjoying it!

I was pretty productive yesterday. I went through all of my scrapbooking supplies, cleaned up my work area, and got rid of A LOT! I also have a HUGE bag full of stuff I'm ready to give away. There may be some blog candy in the near future. Not only did I purge...but I created four layouts that I'm really happy with!

For this layout I used my Little Yellow Bicycle papers/stickers/transparencies. I hand cut the pumpkins and pop-dotted one of them for some dimension.

I used some of my stuff from Scrapbook Sussies halloween kit for this layout, with my Making Memories stash of buttons and felt embellishments from their Spook Alley line. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the chipboard alphas and American Crafts' Flair!

I'm still using BoBunny's Pet Shop line for the pics of Evan dressed as a puppy for Halloween. HE'S SO CUTE!!!!
The last layout I created last night is with some OLD OLD OLD stash I found while I was purging. It's Deja' Views (did I spell that right) and it's perfect summertime/beach paper.

Getting rid of some books and some Scrapbook Sussies LAYOUTS!!!!

Yes. It's a Thursday morning and I'm home. Why? you ask....I think this is officially storm #4 in the Philly area and it's our 6th snow day. I'm not complaining. The School District has already taken some days away from Spring Break and added on an extra day in June. But there's nothing we can do about, I hadn't finalized any travel plans for Spring Break, and I'm going to ENJOY IT!!!!!

This past weekend I went away scrapping with 9 other WONDERFUL ladies who I get together with twice a year. We spend the weekend together in July during the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Valley Forge, and then we get together again in February. We've been doing this for about 4 years and I LOVE IT!!! One of the girls, Jen, introduced me to  a book-swapping website that I've now gotten hooked on. I've posted 7 books I've had laying around and within days they've all been requested and I've mailed them out to various parts of the country. In return, I get to request 7 books that I would like to receive. As of now, I have 2 books on their way to me! LOVING IT!!!

Over the weekend, I wasn't as productive scrapbooking-wise as I usually am. I'm not even too crazy about some of the pages that I did. However, they're done and I'm moving on. Here's some of the layouts I created using Scrapbook Sussies February kit. In the first layout I tried to be creative and I used some Heidi Swapp masks with my Tattered Angels glimmer mists that I never know what to do with. I think it turned out alright, but after adding the black hand-written journaling I really like it.

Newly Discovered....

Okay...I know they've been around for awhile and I've walked past them a million times at my LSS, but I've just recently discovered and fallen in love with BoBunny's Pet Shop and Fancy Pants' Little Sprout. Perfect for Evan's doggy pictures from Halloween and Aiden's newborn pictures! Here's what I whipped up last week during the snow storm (I know...I scrapped A LOT during that week)!!!

What do you do during 2 Back-to-Back snow storms????

Scrap with Basic Grey!!!

Ambrosia with a layout inspired from A Little Dotty!

Mellow with some Tattered Angel's Glimmer Mist and a layout from Page Maps

Lime Rickey with a layout using a Cosmo Cricket sketch

Eskimo Kisses and a layout scrap-lifted from Meg's "Melon Delight" layout on Cosmo Cricket's blog

What?!?! It was that EASY?!?!

Wow...setting up a blog has been a goal of mine for a long time. Want to keep up with all the amazing scrapbookers out there, share some of my everyday trials and tribulations, and display my Design Team work. All I did was click on one button..."start your own blog"...follow a few directions, and here I am. Now...will anyone be checking it out? Guess that remains to be seen.
